Unfiltered Story #360953

(In my state, we don’t really get winter weather. On the rare occasion it snows, EVERYTHING shuts down. There is a chance of snow tomorrow, so schools are either delayed or closed.Our school has not announced anything yet.)

Girl: Hey you guys! It says that XYZ County schools will be delayed tomorrow!
Us: That’s not us. We’re not in the county school system. We’re in the city school system.
Girl: But we’re in XYZ county!
Us: Yes, but not in the school system. They’re delaying because they have busses, and we don’t.
Girl: But we’re in XYZ county!
Us: Look on the school website! It says nothing about any delays!
Girl: But we’re in XYZ county! You guys are so wrong! You’ll see!

(School ended up being delayed, then a closing was announced, but I still can’t believe she still thought we were in the county school system after we clearly explained it to her!)
