Roommate:Hi [my name],finally got passed that tricky level?
Me:Yeah,remind me to thank your dad for the tip.
Girlfriend:Oh,I didn’t know your roommate is a girl.
Me/Roommate:You’re not the first one.
Roommate:[girlfriend],can you wait here while I take a shower?
Girlfriend:Baby,can I go in with you?
Roommate:Sorry but I’m not comfortable with the idea.
Girlfriend:*pouts*
(He goes to shower and she sits on the couch with me.)
Girlfriend:I hope me dating [roommate] won’t make things awkward between us.
Me:*paying more attention to the game*Why would things be awkward?
Girlfriend:Well,you’re a girl,he’s a guy,you live together,you must have feelings for him.
Me:We grew up together and have things in common but that doesn’t mean there has to be romantic feelings involved.We’re just friends.
Girlfriend:Are you sure?
Me:Pretty sure,plus I have a boyfriend.
Girlfriend:He said you were bi,is that a real thing?You won’t hit on me,right?
Me:It’s a real thing and like I said,already in a relationship.I don’t flirt with people when I’m already taken.
