( I work at a large chain fabric store in canada and I am the youngest staff member there. Majority of my co-workers are around 30-60 years old. I’m 16.)

Me: Hey co-worker, how has co-worker #2 been?

( keep in mind I have had a lot of trouble with #2. I mean constant hostile behaviour to the point i wanted to file a harassment complaint)

Co-worker: Oh she’s been good, a lot less b****y lately

Me: That’s good, she was really starting to piss me off.

Co-worker: Yeah, she talks about you alot.

Me: really, why?

Co-worker: well you said you were bi and she thought you were cute.

( co-worker #2 is a lesbian, which I have nothing against)

Me: wait, what?

Co-worker: She thought you were cute but then she learnt you were 16, she calls you jailbait.

Me: *kinda nervous laughter* jailbait?

Co-worker: ya know…jailbait. Looks older than they actually are and they can send you to jail.

Me: So she’s been a c**t to me bacuse I’m too young for her, and now she calls me jailbait behind my back?

Co-worker: yup.
