Unfiltered Story #353530
(This is my sister’s story. Once when she was 15, she was walking through the mall with her first boyfriend of a month. Before they got together, she would flirt with a lot of boys, and they’d gift her jewelry.)
Boyfriend: “Hey, where’d you get that necklace?”
Sister: “Oh, a boy gave it to me.”
Boyfriend: “What? Who?”
Sister: “A friend…”
Boyfriend: “And you’re wearing his necklace? That means you two like each other. I don’t believe he is a friend.”
Sister: “I can wear any necklace I want.”
Boyfriend: “No way, if you and I are to have a future, you need to throw it away! Got that?”
(He screamed and shouted and threw a fit. She broke up with him soon after that. While she should have fibbed about another boy giving her the necklace, he shouldn’t have been so controlling. She got another boyfriend who didn’t care what she wore, even though he skedaddled right after intimacy, but that’s another story. Ah, teen romance…)
