Unfiltered Story #352643

A few years ago, I was getting harassed by a stalker who kept calling my house. Even though he knew who I was, but I had no clue who he was, the whole thing didn’t really bother me that much. I’m not the most attractive girl in the world and didn’t understand why anyone would be interested in stalking me, and it’s not uncommon for me to not recognize people I’ve known for years if I don’t really talk to them a lot. I also have Asperger’s Syndrome, so I’m kind of clueless when it comes these kind of situations; I didn’t even understand that I was being stalked at first! My dad, on the other hand, was furious. He’d heard the stalker talking to me over the phone, and didn’t recognize the voice. My dad knows pretty much everyone in town who knows me, so that was a big red alert for him.

The next time the guy called, I knew what to do. We have two phones in the house, and one of them is cordless. I answered the cordless phone, and speak of the devil, there he was. I kept him on the line while making my way upstairs and mouthed ‘It’s him!’ to my dad. He got on the other phone and quietly listened to what this guy was saying to try and lure me out. Then he said “And just what are your intentions with my daughter?”

The creep hung up and I was never called again. Thanks, dad! You rock!
