Unfiltered Story #352205

I am on the interstate driving home when I pull off at a rest area. We are literally the only car in the parking lot when I pull in and when we walk out.

I’m traveling by myself and am working on getting my toddler back into his car seat when I see another car pull in. I think nothing of it until I hear a horn beeping. I look up to see the owner of the car trying to pull into the spot next to us. Clearly, trying to get my toddler in a seat takes an extra moment, so I roll my eyes and continue trying to my wiggly toddler buckled in.

After 2 MORE beeps, the guy pulls into the spot next to us anyway, giving us a wide birth to the point that he is taking up TWO spots. By this time, my toddler is buckled in so I go to get in the car myself. The man gets out of his vehicle and snaps, “God, could you be ANY slower?? How hard is it to buckle your kid in??” and storms inside the rest area.

I am still baffled as to why the guy needed that particular parking spot when there were 20 other spots. It’s not like it was a handicap spot or even close to the door.
