I donated blood without hydrating properly, and as such was very faint after leaving the blood donation site. My mother and I drove quickly to lunch, to refuel and avoid feeling even grosser. I was less hydrated than I initially evaluated however, and as I sat down to the food, I fainted and fell to the floor. I was fine, and after coming to and being inspected by the paramedics, and hydrated, all was fine. The manager on duty, as well as the store manager who happened to be in offered us the food we had ordered for free, given our distressing situation. We refused, as me passing out was not their fault in any way, but the offer made a huge impression. We are regular customers to this day, and greatly appreciated the gesture. Thank you.
