Unfiltered Story #344523
(For backstory, Our school has a policy where if you’re late to any class you receive a two hour dean’s detention, the maximum they can give
This is also a magnet school, where over half of the students live 6 or more miles away.)
One day after lunch had just ended, The new principal made an announcement
Principle: Okay, So I’ve been hearing complaints from the janitor that you all haven’t been throwing away all of your trash,
(It was only 10 or so kids doing it each lunch, and there was 500 of us in the cafeteria.)
Principle: ….So because of this, You aren’t allowed to leave until I release you, After the bell. Every single one of you will be receiving tardy lock outs, And no late buses will be provided.
Friend: What!? She can’t do that!
Me: What the hell?! My dad doesn’t get off work until 9! I’d have to walk 7 miles to get home!
Random kid: You can’t give the entire 7th grade detention!
(Everyone starts protesting, And some start getting up and trying to leave anyways.)
Principle: Stop! Anybody who leaves will be Rpc’d! No, Suspended! Expelled!
(She released us a good five minutes after the bell rang, Leaving most kids either enraged or in tears, although our teachers(mostly) refused to give everyone a tardy lockout.
She was asked not to come back next year.)
