(I had to retake Grade 12 Chemistry in Summer School, and I went to a Catholic Summer School to do so since it was the closest school to my house. I had a much easier time actually understanding the material compared to day school. This incident happened during the Reaction Rate and Kinetics Unit, when we were talking about Molecular Stability)
Teacher: *draws three shapes on the board* So who can tell me what this is?
Class: Triangle, Square, Hexagon.
Teacher: …I should have worded that better, I meant what compound is this?
Class: Ohhhhh! Cyclopropane, Cyclobutane and Cyclohexane.
(Then he proceeded to explain about why they are stable or unstable compared to each other.)
