Me: “What’s the matter?”

Sister: “[Boyfriend] is mad because I was wearing a necklace from some other boy.”

Me: “Well, yeah, I can see why he’d be mad about that…why’d you tell him?”

Sister: “He’s just a friend! It doesn’t mean anything!”

Me: “Then why don’t you just not wear it.”

Sister: “He can’t control me!”
