It was ’97 and I was 15. The teacher showed us how to use the computer because many students have not used one before. But I am familiar to computers since I was 5 using Osborne 1 as my papa is in computer industry and he taught me. The school’s OS is also one I have at home. The teacher is very surprised I know more about computers than she. It was very nice unlike the teachers who don’t like ‘advanced’ students but I felt a little bit weird knowing I’m the only kid who could use a computer at 5 years old. The few classmates who used computers before only had in the last couple years. Now I smile every time I see 5 year olds on computers today.
