Unfiltered Story #342793
I have PCOS, and therefore:
1. Periods make me *very sick*;
2. I identify as male, and my body has male traits, and I like girls.
The second would not usually be relevant except, well…
I had unusual period cramps one day with no bleeding, so off to the ER I went to make sure my ovary hadn’t exploded. They were aware of my gender, and after confirming someone else could pick me up, gave me some very strong painkillers. I almost immediately passed out.
At some point, the nurse came in to wake me up and check on my vitals. I vaguely remembered that it’s nice to get compliments at work, and so, in my drugged-up state, this is what I said:
Me: “You’re very pretty!”
I promptly fell asleep again and didn’t wake up until my parents came to pick me up, at which point a very amused nurse informed me that I was very out of it. I was confused, but went home.
Then, over a year later, I remembered exactly what I said.
Oops.
