Unfiltered Story #342787

This is the same pizza restaurant as the one in the story (https://notalwaysright.com/people-dont-have-unlimited-time-you-know/266176/).

One day, on a US federal holiday, I decide to order pizza for dinner instead of cooking. Knowing that restaurants might have shorter hours for the holiday, I call the (pizza chain) in town to double check their hours and make sure I still have time to put in an order.

Employee: “(Pizza chain), what can I get you?”

Me: “Hi, I just want to verify your hours for the holiday before I put in an order.”

Employee: “Ugh.” (click)

She hung up on me. I decided to try calling again, but got the same employee with the same result – she hung up on me again instead of telling me anything about their hours. Not bothering to try a third time, I gave up and ordered from an entirely different restaurant instead. I really am done trying to order from this chain now!
