Unfiltered Story #342768
My two younger sons are married. When they still lived in town, Sunday dinner was family time and all four of my children and the two daughters-in-law came over to eat and play games. One of the great games we played is Dominion. It’s a card game where the card content controls the game. (Those familiar with Pokemon or Magic know the concept.) Every card has a title, a class, a bit of art, card rules, etc. One of the cards in my newly purchased set had the title “Bandit Camp.” The first time this was played was by one daughter-in-law, she got a wicked gleam in her eye and said:
D-I-L: Then one time… in Bandit camp….
It took a few minutes for the laughter to subside enough for us to resume our game. If this is published, then this gag is probably just for American readers; the rest will have to eat humble Pie and ask for an explanation.
