(My husband and I were getting ready for work this evening. It is worth noting that my fitbit is an original one, and is quite worn out, not holding a charge for longer than about a day and a half. We also recently adopted a dog who we are still getting to know and who is getting to know us.)
Husband: “Can I plug in my fitbit?”
Me: *Fixing hot chocolate, not paying much attention* “Yeah, go ahead. It should be fine. I want a new one for Christmas.”
Husband: “Sorry about your luck.”
Dog: -barks-
Me: -laughs-
Husband: *to dog* “What, I can’t tell Mom ‘no’ anymore?”
Dog: -whines, wags tail, licks us-
