Unfiltered Story #342641
A client’s dog is on a medication for an allergic issue that makes her very itchy. She comes in to pick up more of the medication one evening.
Client: “I mentioned to the other receptionist that I want to stop giving [medication] to [dog]. She’s fine now.”
Me: “Yes, because [medication] stops her from being itchy.”
Client: “No, she’s not itchy.”
Me: “Exactly, because of the [medication]. It’s for her allergic disease and stops the itchiness.”
Client: “But she’s not itchy. So I want to stop it.”
Me: “Ma’am, the doctor said not to stop or she’ll go back to being itchy and uncomfortable.”
Client: “She’s not itchy though.”
Me: *screaming on the inside* “…I’ll let the doctor know and see what she says.”
