Unfiltered Story #336913

(I work for an app based delivery that sends drivers to all restaurants to pick up customers’ orders. Sometimes it is a problem because some restaurants do not have enough parking and do not have somewhere to park for a few minutes. I arrive to a restaurant on a busy Saturday night and there is no more parking anywhere. I look and look and then I find a little space off to the side, with a sign that says, “No Parking. Loading Only.” Desperate, I park there and a man wearing a uniform comes up.)

Man: “You can’t park here, girly, look.” *points to sign*

Me: “I know, but I’m with a delivery service picking up food from there.” *I point to the restaurant and show my uniform, which has the delivery company’s name on it*

(He ignores me and continues pointing at the sign and grunting loudly. I don’t want to have the customer mad about his food being late, so I lock up my car and go inside the restaurant. With a smug look, I see the man talking frantically into his walkie talkie, clearly, calling someone to tow me or yell at me. I grab the food, pay, and jump back into my car. I’m putting in the customer’s address on my GPS, when I hear a loud yell and a bang.)

Man: “HEY!” *pointing frantically at sign*

(It’s clear he’s crazy, so I back away and leave. The funny thing was, everything took 5 minutes and he was behind my car as if to block me! I reported him to the restaurant and they promised that he wouldn’t be there ever again.)
