Unfiltered Story #32844

Unfiltered | September 22, 2017

(This is my first story, so sorry if it’s not formatted yet. We were in geography class where every Thursday we do a sharing circle kind of question. We were asked what values we had, and a lot of people said trustfulness. This led to a question on why do we feel we need this and what we can do to make sure people around us were being trustworthy.)

Classmate (male): I don’t want to sound sexist, but I think that if you wanted people to keep secrets or be trustworthy, you should talk to the guys. I fell that my friends are way more trustworthy than girls.

(Naturally, me and some other females in the class immediately told him that it had nothing to do with gender, as we had seen people of all genders gossip and tell secrets and be untrustworthy.)
