(My class was all-women that ranged from 18 to 40 year olds learning to be professional cosmeticians. And every subject had its share of talkers and whisperers; sometimes so many, that it was difficult to hear the teacher. One time, I am called on cause I had a question to ask about the subject.)
Me: Well-
Class: *talking loudly with various conversations*
Me: Could you all SHUT YOUR TRAPS just once?!
(And then *I* got in trouble with the teacher because I dared to use the word ‘trap’ instead of ‘mouth’. This taught me one thing: don’t expect anyone, regardless of age, to be able to not talk for 90 minutes)
