(I’m in class and my professor is handing back homework assignments. It’s the third day so she doesn’t know who anyone is yet. She has two assignments left over, belonging to Student 1 and Student 2).
Professor: “Student 1? Student 2?”
(5 minutes later)
Professor: “Student 1? Student 2?”
(She did this throughout the class. Since nobody ever entered the room, I don’t know what she was expecting…)
