Unfiltered Story #32439

Back when I left school I started as an apprentice, part of the job was to work a little in each section and learn what they do. I was very quite, shy and polite, unfortunately my very first placement was deemed as the most demanding sections with some of the biggest p’ss-takers in the business.

We had just finished a gruelling and very unpopular task of checking employees where doing their jobs, I had taken a lot of snide comments and was happy to get back to the office.

Worker 1: Don’t worry, we all get the same comments, they just took it out on you because you look so young.

Worker 2: Young, he looks like a child!

Worker 1: (Shooting him a look) Ignor him. Anyway you did good. Lets see what you’ve got.

Worker 2: (Looking over his shoulder) Wowo this is crap, I can write better with me @rse!

Worker 1: (Pretending to hit him) go back in your cage will you.

Worker 2: OOOH did someone get angry.

Me: (speaking for the first time that day) Hey (worker 1) shut the f’ck up, grown ups are talking.

(Worker 1 stands in shock silence, the whole office bursts in to laughter, so much so Worker 1 can’t get a word in edgeways.)

Worker 2: (trying not to laugh) that was the funniest thing I’ve heard in months. I’m going to ask your boss if you can stay.

(Worker 1 spoke that day, he actually liked that I told him off, and I was friends with him before my placement was up.)
