Our Social Research professor is a soft spoken woman and has never had to raise her voice before. This takes place in the last month of the semester.

Professor: Alright, now don’t forget your end of term project is going to be due in two weeks-

The class next door let out early and now a small group is loudly talking outside our door.

Professor: If you have any questions about your topics you need to speak up now-

*group gets louder*

Professor: I will extend my office hours for tomorrow so-

*group is practically yelling in the hallway now and the Professor slams her hands down and goes to yank open the door*

Professor: WILL YOU SHUT UP? SOME OF US ARE STILL HAVING CLASS!

The Professor slams the door shut making everyone in the class jump. She then goes back to the podium and takes a deep breath before smiling at us.

Professor: Sorry about that.
