(I am a bit of a biology nerd – even in my early teens I was reading up on microbiology, genetics and evolution. This is about a year or two before I go into university.)
Biology teacher: i don’t believe in evolution; I think it is complete rubbish. Unfortunately I have to teach it, so I will.
Me: *facepalm*
(I was completely turned off from studying biology for those two years in junior college because it became rote memorization. Luckily I managed to scrape together enough marks to get into university. And the best part was that this teacher was in charge of the Biology Olympiad team.)
