Me and my friend are in math class and using protractors. My friend grabs mine when I set it down.
Me: *jokingly* “You can’t take that! That’s cheating! Your parents wouldn’t cheat on each other, would they?”
Friend: “My parents are divorced.
He pauses.
Friend: “And my dad’s engaged.”
He wasn’t insulted, though!
