Unfiltered Story #32226

(My friends tend to be punny at times. Today is the first day were seeing our history in 5 days because of the weekend and the fact the he was sick and we had a field trip. I am sitting next to my friend who is very punny a lot of the time and there is also a kid in my class whose last name is Fast. For the sake of the story let’s say that his first name is “George”.)

Teacher: I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve seen you guys.

“George” Fast: Must feel like an eternity for you.

Teacher: Yes. An eternity. I’m going through “George” withdrawal.

Me (to my Best Friend): *Trying not to laugh* He was on a “George” Fast.

(My Best Friend then proceeded to crack up and relay what I had just said to the teacher who acted like I had caused the end of the world with my bad pun. I’m still proud.)
