Once upon a time, I was trying out the Plenty of Fish dating website and saw a girl who was cute and shared some similar interests with me so I wrote her and tried to strike up a conversation.

I wasn’t quite prepared for the response.

The guy in question was my kid brother. When I told him, he said, “You should have told her I was gay, married, and she can’t have me.” (True, btw)

I actually felt sorry for her as I couldn’t imagine what her thinking must be like if she thought any friend or relative of mine would want anything to do with her after learning she steamrolled over me to get to them.
