My grandmother died when I was two years old, and the whole family got together for the funeral. During one get together me and two cousins (2 and 3 years old) played outside in the garden while the adults talked inside with the door open. Unknown to them somebody left the staircase used to get oranges proped on the wall. And so Cousin #1 started going up to the roof. The family was surprised when I suddenly came in and made them follow me outside to show them what was going on. When asked why did she go up she said:

Cousin #1: Grandma is up there! Grandma is up there!

The story is often told at Christmas with the comment that grandma must have made me warn them since I was her favorite and shouldn’t have been aware that what she was doing was dangerous.
