It’s the last day of school for the year, and in my Maths class we’re playing a Kahoot—a type of online quiz game. The Kahoot is on the vague topic of “Music”, so assuming it’ll be all about pop songs, I stay out. I’m a classical musician who really just doesn’t listen to vocal stuff. It turns out that the quiz includes classical music questions.

The question that comes up is “Which city was Mozart born in?” and the answers are Hamburg, Hamburger, Salzburg, and Salisburg.

Classmate #1: “What the hell is it? [My name], you do music. What is it?”

Me: *not looking up* “Salzburg.”

Classmate #2: “Thanks!”

Classmate #3: “Wait, which one is it? There are two!”

Finally, I look up and actually see the answers available.

Me: *incredulously* “The one that’s not spelled SALISBURG!”
