While our 5 year old has a wild fantasy (what kid this age doesn’t?), according to the kindergarten, they do lack a bit in the expressing in words and sentences on the level, which is considered normal for a 5 year old. So we booked some sessions with a speech therapist.

Because I have changing morning and evening shifts, I was only able to be with our child every now and then, since the times with the speech therapist was usually in the mornings. It was mostly the speech therapist and our child talking, while I was mostly just watching and listening.

One morning I had apparently not slept enough the previous night. After sitting for a while, I started to nod off. Next thing I heard was my own snoring!

I jerked up very fast to two amused faces looking at me and my child pointing out, that I did in fact snore. I tried my very best to stay awake the rest of this session and the following ones where I was present.
