(My then-girlfriend and I are killing time at home, me playing video games and her crocheting. She calls me over to see her finished project, a beautiful rainbow-colored amigurumi squid.)

Me: “Oh, hon, that’s fantastic! You always make such nice things.”

Her: *Smirks and grabs my butt* “Your mom makes such nice things.”
