Customer approaches just as I finish sharpening the slicer and I tell them that I’ll be with them shortly as I still have to clean it to ensure the fall out from sharpening it would go into the meat. The customer tells me it’s fine just slice it. I tell her again that I can’t as I was trained that it is a health hazard and it is best to clean it in case something happens. Customer then tells me why I couldn’t have just prevented the fall out in the first place. I tell her I can’t really control that so that is the reason why I clean it up. Customer then asks me if I’m stupid and if it was her she could’ve done it herself and she would’ve done my job better than me 😂
