Unfiltered Story #299704

(I am currently watching a movie that I have never seen before, but one of my favourite TV shows is based on. Partway through my girlfriend comes in, and we debate a bit about the movie.)

Me: “Oh, that actor *really* reminds me of the one from *The Flash*”.

GF: “… [my name], he IS the guy from *The Flash*!”

Me: ” …no, he’s not. This movie is 29 years old.”

*(another 30-ish minutes through, my girlfriend is still insisting and interrogating.)*

GF: “Are you SURE he isn’t the same guy?”

Me: “YES! It came out in NINETEEN NINETY-TWO! I don’t know if he was even ALIVE in 1992!”

(I eventually looked it up, and as it turns out, I was born in the same year as the actor in question… so we were two years old when the movie came out.)
