(My boyfriend and I are at a home improvement store in the garden center. I love plants, but I don’t have a green thumb and have had lots of plants die over the years.)

Me: It’s a shame I like plants so much.

Boyfriend: No, you like killing plants.

Me: But they look so pretty before they die.
