Unfiltered Story #297252

(Some years ago, I was working in fast food while going to school. A coworker and I were putting away recently received supplies.)

Me: All right, that’s almost everything. There’s just this little bit for in here and the stuff on the shelf in the hall left. Which one do you want to do?

Coworker: I can’t reach either of those, so have fun with that.

(To be fair, he was fairly short.)

Me: There’s ladders hanging on the wall right over there.

Coworker: Hell no! I’m not going to make myself look like a jackass!

(I didn’t say it, but I was thinking “Why not, you already act like one.”

(This isn’t the only incident concerning that particular coworker, just one of the more memorable.)
