Unfiltered Story #297213
During the pandemic, our governor insists that the public schools stay open. My district offers optional online classes, and as the librarian, I’m in charge of teaching certain sections. One day a kid walks into the library.
Student: I’m dropping off some books.
Me: Just set them on the counter.
Student: Okay.
Me: (Student)? You know I’m teaching an online class, right? I wasn’t just standing in the library, doing the Hokey Pokey by myself.
Student: Whatever you say, Mr. (my name).
