Unfiltered Story #297007
My daughter was pumping gas in her car. There was a lady nearby doing the same. My daughter is a socially outgoing person and greets strangers constantly.
Daughter: How are you doing today?
Woman: [ignores her]
Daughter: That’s a beautiful coat you have. I like the design.
Woman: I’m not giving you any money for gas!
Daughter: [shocked] I wasn’t asking you for gas. I was complimenting you on you coat.
Woman: Well, it doesn’t matter. I’m not giving you any money!
Daughter: I wasn’t asking you for money. I guess you’ve never had a compliment before.
Woman: [glares, then drives off in a huff]
