In the mid aughts, I am attending my history class. There lecture is being given by by a candidate for an open professor position so the search committee can see her in action.

Lecturer: You know the show Silver Spoons?

Crickets.

Lecturer: Well it was a show. Anyways, this guy was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

I went home and asked my parents about it. It was a show in the 80’s.
