My husband and I were eating and the waitress came by to check on us. She asked if I wanted a refill on my drink. I told her yes. She asked me what I was drinking.

What I meant to say: Doctor Pepper.

What I said: Diet Pepper.

After I told her what I meant, she started laughing.

The rest of the meal, our waitress asked me if I wanted more Diet Pepper.
