I work in the meat department at a local grocery store. With Christmas next week, and people generally not caring about the “limit your social gatherings” mandate, were getting calls every few minutes from people asking to order a prime rib roast for their Christmas dinner. A surprising number of times these calls start like this:

I answer the phone with a simple: “meat department”
Customer: “Is this the meat department????”
I faceplam nearly every time.
