I have a manager who really sucks at her job. I look at the screen and see two orders of chili cheese tots and an order of cheese fries. Due to how the screen is set up it looks like they paid to add shredded cheese to the cheese fries so they should either get twice as much cheese or not pay double for the cheese. I try to mention this to the manager, no matter how I phrase it she repeats “add shredded cheese.” After several times I say ok and let it go. I’m making chili cheese tots as those are the first orders.
Manager “it’s cheese fries.”
Me “fries are in the grease.”
Manager “it’s cheese fries no chili.”
Me “these are tots.”
Manager “cheese fries with shredded cheese.”
Me “ok.”
Manager “Cheese fries!”
Me “heard.”
Manager “CHEESE Fries!”
Me “I concur.”
Manager *points at screen* “CHEESE FRIES!”
Me “yes. Cheese fries.”
Manager *snatches chili cheese tots out of my hand and yells* “cheese fries!”
Me “chili cheese tots.” *Places tots in the correct spot, pulls fries out of the grease and points* “fries.” *Puts cheese on top* “cheese fries.”
Manager “oh. Haha I thought you were making fries.”
Me *thinking* “this is why you suck at your job.”
