I was in my Youth Church a few weeks ago, and we were in the middle of prayer as a full group before we break off into small groups for discussion. We normally turn our phones on silent, but I forgot to turn mine off. Me, being a Broadway geek, my ringtone is “Candy Store” from “Heathers the Musical” As our Youth Pastor is closing up, “Candy Store” comes on full blast from my Jean pocket. Those of you who know the show/song, it isn’t the most appropriate…. The clip that plays is from the beginning to a little over one minute in. No one knew it was me, except for my couple of friends who were with me, who were snickering under their masks. The pastor just waited until it ended, and reminded us to silence our phones. I still have never been caught, but it was quite the interesting day.
