I’m about 8 months pregnant with my first child. My family has gathered at my grandmother’s house for dinner, and we’re telling baby stories. My mom is talking about one of my younger sisters.
Mom: We tried to get (sister 2) to open her eyes. She wouldn’t do it for us, but she finally opened them when (me) and (sister 1) came in. She must have recognized your voices!
Sister 2: I heard you coming and was like, here comes the chaos!
Me: You ARE the chaos!
Fortunately, she thought it was funny and started cracking up.
