Unfiltered Story #285314

, | Unfiltered | March 3, 2023

I’ve been receiving mail in my sister’s name, I let our mom know so she can tell my sister.
Mom “just open it and tell me what it says.”
Me “I don’t feel comfortable with that considering it’s against the federal law.”
Mom “well it’s just for her kids to get (government assistance) they don’t need that.”
Me “well I’d rather not get sued or go to prison. Aside from that I doubt a judge would accept ‘mommy said to’ when we’re both over 18. I’m sure she can find anything about it online.”
Mom “she did give you permission to open it and she can’t find her info to go online.”
Me “you mean this info that I sent to her over a week ago in case she lost her sticky note? No she didn’t give me permission besides am I supposed to fill out her forms and forge her signature too?”
Mom “ugh I gotta go.”
Sorry for not breaking the law mom. *Rolls eyes.*
