My brother and I have been playing with one of those finger traps, and I being the oldest have dragging him around with it. We come out of the kitchen and see our mum at the door with someone we later find out is our new neighbour.

Neighbour: *noticing us* Oh it’s so nice to see such progressive parents. They’re such a lovely couple. Gay power!

Me: I think five and six are a little young, don’t you? Also we aren’t big on incest in this house. Thanks for stopping by!

Our mum closes the door as it slowly dawns on the neighbour and her expression turns to horror. Our mum then collapses in fits of laughter as we stare at her confused. We didn’t understand it until years later when the neighbour moved away and our mum decided to regail us.
