Person 1 (American): does Germany still use the “mark” as currency or do they use the “euro” now?

Person 2 (Scottish): Most european countries use the Euro the exceptions being the UK and Switzerland I believe.

Person 1: We drive on the right side of the road in America while you people in Europe drive on the left side of the road in some countries

Person 2: (My name). I know Switzerland will take the Euro but do they still use the Swiss Frank?

(explanation, Switzerland is not even part of the EU)

Person 1: is Germany still a dictatorship or do they have a democratic form of government like my country does ?
