Unfiltered Story #28380

(I work in one of the tallest buildings in Toledo, Ohio which is full of offices. But today it will be pretty much empty since it is Martin Luther King Day and most people have the day off. I have to work and am not looking forward to it.)

I was on the elevator when a man starts jogging to it as I held the door open. He said “Did you see that magnificent run I did?”

I chuckled, “Yes, were you in the Olympics?”

He said, “I wish.”

I said, “Well you’ve made my Monday, thank you.”

As I was getting off the elevator he said “Make sure you tell everyone you met a champion today.”

I said I would, and so here I am telling everyone. Thank you, Sir. For brightening my Monday morning.
