Unfiltered Story #283563

I am on my second date with a girl, and we very much enjoy each other’s company. However, we’re both a little ditzy. We planned to meet at a restaurant, and she was inside already, while I waited outside for 10 minutes. It wasn’t until we texted each other that we realized we were both on time.

After an okay meal served by a pushy waiter, we go to the mall and forget our boxed up leftover food in the car. We decide to throw it away.

I toss mine, she tosses hers, and I look into the bag of leftover breadsticks.

Me: “Oh, there’s four! Do you–”

As I’m talking, the other side of the bag opens, dropping all four breadsticks on the ground.
The girl laughs uncontrollably, leaning on the garbage can for support as I sheepishly toss the breadsticks in the trash too.

We’ve been together for a year now, and it’s one of our favorite stories.
