Unfiltered Story #28268
(I was walking along when a stranger in front of me drops an envelope. I had a few seconds to take in my first impression. Not very tall, is broader, has long black hair-most black-haired people in my area are Asians-who are generally short and not fat, no handbag, just cradling some papers, and wearing clothes that look unisex/male.)
Me: Sir! You dropped an envelope.
(The stranger continues walkng. I tap their shoulder and SHE turns around. I see she’s on the plump side, which accounts for being broader.)
Stranger: Did you call me sir?? I’m not a man!! Crazy.
(I admit, this is the first and only time I thought a long haired person was a man but turned out to be a woman. I suppose this really doesn’t happen often but no need to be rude.)
