Unfiltered Story #28251

(I’m a young woman waiting at a stop sign at a pretty bad area. There are a lot of pedestrians slowly crossing, so I have to wait until they are through. It is a hot day, so my driver side window is rolled partly down. Finally, the pedestrians finish crossing, so I dart forward. Suddenly, an older man, dressed in a jogging suit, jogs across and I nearly hit him.)

Old Jogger: “HEY!!!” *jogs to my driver’s side with his fist raised to punch my lights out*

(I am like a deer in the headlights, staring at him wide eyed. It happened so quickly that I don’t even throw up my hands to block his incoming punch. The whole street stopped. Luckily, the man seemed to have realized that there were plenty of witnesses for assault, so he lowered his fist and slowly crossed the street, glowering back at me. Good think he stopped! I don’t want to even think about what would’ve happened if he punched me like he obviously wanted to.)
