This is more sad than funny. Really not funny.

I worked for an international youth organization that included summer camps. One week we had an international exchange program. Our campers went halfway around the world and that country sent campers to us. Interpreters went with each group. These were elementary school aged kids.

One camper sent to us simply couldn’t manage himself. He ransacked everyone’s belongings and was out of control. Finally a one on one counselor had to be assigned to him and they stayed in the cabin. I don’t know if the counselor spoke his language. They couldn’t send him home or they would have.

Honestly, who puts their kid in that situation?
